Brown Fused Alumina is fused and crystallized under the high temperature of more than 2250°C with bauxite.in the electric arc furnace. It is characterized by good self-sharpening and high grinding ability. Brown Fused Alumina can be used in producing vitrified grinding tools, resinoid grinding tools, and it could also be used for abrasives、sandblasting, precision casting and refractory application.

For abrasives application, in order to improve the performance, we calcine the grains at 1100 °C and 1350°C, and it can be coated by ceramic materials.
